Lee BROWN
Board Member

Lee believes in the mission of credit unions and loves the family atmosphere at SC Telco. He has an SC Telco volunteer for six years. Lee is married and has one son and one daughter. He enjoys music, spending time with his family, and attending South Carolina football games.

 

 


 

 


 

At the heart of the credit union difference are our volunteers.  Unlike for-profit banks, credit unions are governed by members just like you - real people who are committed to improving your financial lives.


BOARD of directors
Board members are responsible for setting policies, approving budgets, and help direct strategic planning.  They evaluate operations and maintain financial performance stadards for the credit union.  Board positions are voluntary and unpaid.

supervisory committee
The Supervisory Committee is a separate committee from the Board of Directors and is primarily responsible for initiating and reviewing third party audits of the credit union.  Additionally, the committee is responsible for submitting written reports required by the National Credit Union Administration. Supervisory Committee positions are voluntary and unpaid.

The Advisory Council is a separate committee that works to develop knowledge of the credit union industry, the roles of the Board and Supervisory Committee and to represent the interest of all members.  Positions on this committee are voluntary and unpaid.
